TL Decay is the recipient of the 2011 Preditors and Editors Reader's poll award for Best Poet. He enjoys being retired from the military, which actually means starting a second career but ultimately gives him more time with his wonderful family.
TL likes to put twists in his stories like clawed zombies, or a zombie outbreak that is actually contained by quarantine. If given enough coffee he can also generate a few space opera type Sci-Fi stories.

A lot of book for the price. This vampire book managed to be both erotic and scary without one interfering with the other. Victoria has to be one of the most frightening vampires I've read because she not only kills her victims-she stalks them first. Like a bad romance she lures her poor victims in with manipulation and sex and then refuses to leave. She's pure evil. The characters were each unique, realistic and added to the story. I really enjoyed the different endings from each author.

Oh and don't look up at any dark windows at night...

Scary and bloody and with some crazy vampire erotica through out.... this is a pretty cool story and I love how each author contributes an initial character sketch and background. Fabulous. The endings were awesome, too. I enjoyed each one. I am hard pressed to pick my favorite. Another winner by Mr. Cardillo and the other writers! Great job!

It is a fact that some of the best written fantasy fiction is that in which the reader almost can't tell that he or she is reading fantasy. This is why authors such as Robin Hobb and George.R.R.Martin have become so successful- their fantasy novels are so believable that you become caught up and totally ensnared in their worlds!
So it is for Silent Heart. This was the first book I have read by this author but it left me hungry for more!
Paige is a just young deaf girl living in the woods when she literally stumbles across a group of assassins in the process of decapitating an unknown man. Fleeing for her life and pursued by these armed killers, Paige falls into the arms of Stone; a warrior sworn to protect and to serve. He guards her and protects her from harm and, when he realises what it is she has seen, devotes himself to escorting her back to the palace of King Evard. For the man the assassins killed was a Prince and Stone knows that the killers will not stop until the last witness to their actions is silenced forever. What follows is an epic and dangerous journey as Stone gives up everything to keep Paige safe...
This was an absolutely amazing read! It is brutal, harsh and highly emotional but never anything less than compelling. I could not put this down and simply cannot recommend it enough! The descriptive passages are so amazingly well done that you feel as though you are there living the story with the characters, it simply is that believable! To say that this is an emotional journey would be an understatement but one thing is certain, authors as good as this don't come along very often and if you don't pick this up you will definitely be missing out!

After is a gripping page turner that will instantly hook you and keep you enraptured through to the exhilarating end.
Author Samantha Gregory brings us this captivating story that goes beyond the typical zombie apocalypse boundaries. Jenna is a seventeen year old trying to be brave and resilient in these harrowing times. She is the kind character you root for. Her pure heart and goodness shine through with Gregory’s descriptive and crisp writing. You find Jenna taking on more responsibility than most adults. With her dad gone she has to care for her mom, who is a shell herself after the loss of Jenna’s dad. With such burdens you will be amazed at Jenna’s inner strength as she navigates and maneuvers through this dark and unforgiving world. She will need this strength now more than ever as suspicious circumstances send her on a journey full of danger and surprises.
Gregory expertly guides us through many twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat as you discover secrets that have been hidden away. The suspense rises and falls barely leaving time to catch your breath. There are zombies, love, deceit, betrayal and the hunt for the truth. I highly recommend it and anxiously await the next book in the series!

Helen Of Troy:Vampire is the latest offering from Indie Horror writer Catt Dahman and could well be considered her most ambitious book to date. Offering her own very different, original and unique take on established Greek Mythology, Catt tells the true story of Helen; the woman who was supposedly responsible for bringing about the Trojan wars.

In Catt's version of the Greek myths we all think we know, Helen is a doomed victim of circumstance who, upon starting her monthly cycle, discovers that she is the recipient of a family curse that flows through her bloodline. Helen is both a vampire and a succubus. Once a month, she must feast on blood or find herself wracked with unbearable cramps. After feeding, she becomes ever more beautiful to the point where no man can resist her. This leads her into various liaisons, not all of them her choice, and causes men to become willing to fight over her and die for her in a bid to win her love....

Children of Rosehaven is a wonderful story written by Christopher St. John Sampayo, playwright and up-and-coming new novelist. The story-line and characters make it hard to believe this is his first published novel, while suggesting it most certainly won't be the last. Right from the beginning, the Prologue grabs the reader's attention and starts you off on your journey to unearth the secrets hidden in Rosehaven. The story has a wonderful build-up and touches on all notes and emotions, making it a very enjoyable read and one that is hard to put down. I absolutely recommend it to others!

If you haven't read anything by Edward Cardillo you are truly missing out. He's versatile and interesting; his books provoke thought and he really has an incredible way of making the impossible thrillingly, terrifyingly possible. The Odd Tales of an Old Man is a wonderful story about family- a grandfather uses creepy as heck fables as a way of getting through to his grandsons. The stories within the story are creepy and scary and wonderful. The basic story is touching and I wound up misty eyed at the end. It's a great book for teenagers and adults who enjoy creepy stories with meaning- a sort of Creepshow with heart. Check out his Automaton series as well.

Once again I bought a Booth and Woods book to read drung my lunch hour, and even though this was somethng very new and diffrent from them (a spy thriller? What, no hoblings and other fantasy critters?), I found the writing to be as crisp and involvng as always. I was also horrified and amused by all of the conspiracies discussed in the book -- the things certain people believe! But it all serves a purpose for the ongoing plot and makes for a great payoff in the end.

I was granted the great fortune to read Jim Goforth’s new book PLEBS and I have to say, Jim is a remarkable author who grabs you from the first moment you enter his world and holds you mesmerized until the final word is read. PLEBS is the name of a mutant group living in the woods created by a science project gone wrong. Also living in these woods is a troop of emotionally damaged women who have gathered to support each other. The fact that they are all super-hotties makes the story that much more interesting. Three friends run into this group of ladies and help them rescue two of their friends. What ensues is chaos and death, love, sex and extreme violence!

The thing about PLEBS, if you love Grindhouse, you are gonna get a firsthand lesson on how to write it effectively with this book. I felt like Jim had channeled Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino and well, most of the 70s and 80s exploitation films I used to watch. His extraordinary writing skills let this book run like a movie from a New York or San Francisco back alley theater in your mind. It is filled with violence, sex and bizarre subject matter. Jim’s imagination goes loco and we benefit when he bleeds all over the page!

All his characters are awesomely developed, the plot line is awe-inspiring and the grindhouse feel is intense. Jim is an author the reading public needs to watch out for because he has made an impressive outing with this book which just demonstrated what this young man is capable of. I read a lot of books and some are very good, some are great and some, well there is not a word descriptive enough of how fantastic this book is. Thanks to Jim Goforth for letting his story take me on an adventure of a lifetime. He is without a doubt an incredible author. Look for this book as it is the one with the fabulous cover and 600 pages of tasty story in the middle.
